Spellcaster thinks of a specific a creature or being within range and whispers a message. The target (and only the target) hears the message and can reply in a whisper that only you can hear.
Takes 1d6* round to find target and the spellcaster hears: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SOrEVFSRdsw&t=1s. The target hears the message and can respond but must then the target hears: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SOrEVFSRdsw&t=1s and takes 1d3* rounds to return a message.
*The caster and possibly the target must listen to the noise for the full 1d6 round or 1d3 rounds.
Magical silence, 1 foot of stone, 1 inch of common metal, a thin sheet of lead, or 3 feet of wood blocks the spell. The spell doesn’t have to follow a straight line and can travel freely around corners or through openings.
