Traditional Dwarven Mous

You can make this tastiest traditional dwarven kale stew with this Rockhome recipe. Packed with flavor from the onion, garlic and diced bacon. Serve with a creamy stew of potatoes, kale and milk and a delicious smoked sausage.
Ingredients for 2 Dwarves or 4 Humans or 6 Elves
1.2 kg Floury potatoes
0.8 Kg kale
1 Smoked sausage (0.5 to 1 LBS)
50 g Mountain Cow Butter
3 fist sized Onions
1 Dwarven Sniff (1-3 tsp) garlic powder
11 Dwarven handful of smoked bacon cubes (125gr-to 200gr)
100 ml Whole milk from a Mountain cow
2 spoons extra strong Mustard
50-100 g Mountain Cow Butter in half inch cubes
1 pinch of Ochalean Nutmeg (not original but the Rockhome dwarves like the taste so it was added as Rockhome Dwarves traded with Ochaleans and visited the country after the Thyatian invasion)
Preparation method
Prepare this delicious Traditional Dwarven kale stew in 4 steps.
Place the potatoes with the kale on top in a pan and add enough water to just cover it. (or use an in-pan roster on 1 inch feet and place enough water to just submerge the potatoes--this prevents burning of the potatoes).
Place the smoked sausage on top and bring to the boil. Boil the potatoes with the kale and the sausage for 2 Turns (20 minutes).In the meantime, melt the butter in a frying pan. Fry the onion with the garlic and the bacon cubes for 8 minutes.
In another pan heat the milk just to a boil(do not remove the fat). Set aside.Remove the smoked sausage from the pan. Drain the potatoes with the kale. Add the milk and mash the mixture into a smooth stew.(use this tool for mashing)
This tool can be a weapon of oppurtunity for 1d3 damage
Stir the onion-bacon mixture into the stew complete with the molten butter/bacon juices
Serve the smoked sausage with the stew. Depending on personal taste;Add extra butter cubes and season the sausage and/or the stew with the mustard and nutmeg.
Extra information.
To Dwarves, Hin, and Gnomes this meal is a standard ration for two dwarves, to humans and most other it functions as two, so this full meal is for 4 humans, to Elves even 3(and they tend to nitpick all the meat out) making this full meal enough for 6 Elves, (sharing the meat with the table dogs).
Can be baked again once in a flat cooking pan on an open fire (or in an oven), stir regularly, add extra butter to prevent burning.
Thyatian Dwarven variety; Add one sweet Red Paprika, seeds in seedstrips inside, cut of green top, cut into 1/4inch parts and add in the potato-kale to boil mix
Gnomish Variety; Insead a sausage add 1Lbs of bacon sheets backed either suppel or crispy
Alphatian Dwarven variety; Add a handful of crushed cashew nuts and sweet bacon (honey dripped) This version is also done with Giant Bee honey which doubles natural Healing, or Stiirge Honey which gives a +1 St and Constitution for 1d3 hours)
Ierendi Variation; instead of bacon add a side dish of 3 cleaned herring (headless, grateless and innards less), mix with chopped onions, eat raw(preferably by holding it at the tale, dipping it in the onions and sliding it in the mouth by tilting the head backwards and biting pieces off. Never lay the tail back on the plate--Ierendians havve special buckets for these. This version removes any seesickness for 6 hours(coming back then with a veneance)
