Fog Warriors
by Aoz with help from RobinThe spell was devised at the Glantri Great School of Magic for combating non-magical foes on Yarthmont 13 in 1019 AC.
Some say it was stolen from the Merchant-Princes of Minrothad. If a Merchant-Prince sees a non-Merchant-Prince cast the spell, orders are to kill that being on sight.

Fog Warriors or Summon Kal-murus
Level: 4th for Air Elementalism/Merchant-Princes and 5th level for other spellcasters
Casting time: 1 Action
Components: V, S
Range(area): 30 yards
Attack(save): None
Duration: 2 turnsA fog cloud is conjured along with a total of 16 HD of Kal-murus to the area.
Summons 8 (2 HD) Kal-murus.
The spell creates a fog of any size and shape up to a maximum 120-foot cube. The fog obscures all sight, normal and infra-vision, beyond two feet. Also, helps hide the Kal-murus.
See Kal-Muru (Shipbane) AC 9 D&D Creature Catalogue on page 28.
A strong breeze will reduce the fog's spell duration to a mere 2 rounds, while a moderate breeze will reduce the duration by half. Dispel Magic and Banishment will work on the Kal-murus.The 16 HD of Kal-murus will attack everyone except the spellcaster. At the end, of the spell, there is 1% chance to summon a Greater Kal-murus equal to spellcaster level that wants to kill the spellcaster!!
There are rumors of a higher-level version of this spell that is resisted to dispel magic and 5 times the HD in or 40 Kal-murus summoned. However, Glantri and the Princes say it doesn't exist, but Old Man Puckman tells a story of bandits coming through Scotch Breach. A fog appeared swallowing the bandits, old man Puckman said, "The screams...by the Immortals...all I heard was their screams.". When the fog lifted their were 66 dead bandits.Other wizards say it must have been cloud-kill then Old Man Puckman asked, "Then why were those poor souls bodies tore apart just like the fog warrior spell."
Old Man Puckman disappeared shortly after asking this question.
