Grey Philosophers and other variants
by HåvardGrey Philosophers are Clerics or other great thinkers who have been condemned to an undead state. They are surrounded by spirits called Malices who are manifestations of their dark thoughts. They are detailed in the Creature Catalog.
Could there also be other creatures that represent different destinies of great thinkers?
For instance:
Enlightened Philosopher
These are Clerics, Mystics or other thinkers who have achieved full enlightenment through contemplation, meditation, art and/or prayer. They are not undead, but beings of pure Energy and Thought. They appear as hooded figures dressed in bright, glowing colorful robes. The are often found on Outer Planes, but sometimes appear in temples or in mountain tops.
Their "Malices" are called Axioms and exist in harmony with the Philosopher. They can assist him in combat.
Grim Philosophers
These are similar to Enlightened Philosophers, but rather than Enlightenment, they have discovered the ultimate mental darkness. They are dressed in black robes and surrounded by darkness.
Their "Malices" are called Devastations.
Thoughts? Could there be other Magical Philosophers as well? Could they be connected to Notions from the Immortal Set/Gold Box?
