Hexed Vesubian Ink
by AozA rare type of ink made by witches using materials from Vesubian Marsh, this enchanted ink ensures that any attempt to copy the books or spell work results in utter failure. Letters distort, words scramble into nonsense, and if a scroll with this ink is attempted to be copied, the original scroll transforms into a mischievous enchanted toad (if the toad killed the spell goes off).
The ink is sold in carefully measured vials, each one infused with at least three witches' chaos magic and their hexes:
1 vial can make about up to 5 spell levels worth (Five 1st level spells, or one 5th level spell, or any combination)
1–2 vials for a small spellbook (50 pages).
5 vials for a medium grimoire (150 pages).
10+ vials for a large arcane tome (300+ pages, including diagrams and sigils).
20+ vials for a Witches' Library Volume, brewed under moonlight with additional enchantments.
The ink is highly sought after in magical circles. In Glantri, a single vial is valued at 250 dc, but outside its borders—where demand exceeds supply—the cost doubles to 500 dc per vial. Covens strictly control its distribution, ensuring only trusted buyers gain access, making it a prized commodity among scholars, wizards, and spellcasters wishing to guard their most precious magical secrets or rare books.
