Plot points for a Karameikan campaign

I'm starting off a city campaign in Specularum of 996 AC. At the monent I'm gathering plot points I can use to build meaningful scenarios upon. I hope the main plotline of the campaign will follow naturally based on the actions of the heroes. I could use some help with coming up with the individual plots though. Here are my ideas -- I'm very grateful if you care to add some of your own:

1) The shearing of Adriana Karameikos. Every criminal organization around will try to kidnap A. after the ceremony. The Duchess wants A. to be followed and kept safe and A. herself is really annoyed with that.

2) Wererats in the sewers. People get lost, help needed.

3) Radu clan secretly making things worse for the Duke. They arrange lots of little problems -- what exactly? -- they can blame the duke for.

4) The city is not big enough for two magic-users' guilds. The Duke/Duchess/Teldon suspects a competing guild of magic-users has been building a presence in Specularum. This is worrisome for different reasons. For the least, the administration needs to get to speaking terms with the new mages. Then they need to make sure the new guys respect the "no spells cast inside the city walls" law.

5) The crown/spear/whatever of Petra is found. The Church of Karameikos officials need to ensure the artifact will not get into the hands of the Church of Traladara. The C of T are already known to posses the sword of Halav and they are suspected of at least being aware of the location of an artifact of Zirchev. Three artifacts in the possession of the T of C would risk an unhealthy boost in the Traldar national sentiment.
