Korgo is a huge gorilla standing about 12' (3.6 meters) when standing on his hind legs. Korgo will often behave similar to a normal animal, but he is deeply intelligent. While he can lash out with violence and rage, he is a deeply kind and caring ruler of all apes. No ape will ever harm Korgo unless under magical control. Korgo also seeks to protect humans and demihumans unless they actively attack him. In combat he has on occasion brought a huge powerful magical battle axe causing 3d8+5 points of damage.

During the height of the Milenian Empire on Davania, Korgo was a regular gorilla from the Jungle Coast. A Milenian expedition managed to capture the gorilla and bring him back, keeping the animal in captivity. However, he was rescued by the daughter of his captors. The Milenian soldiers chased the freed gorilla until he managed to climb one of the highest towers of the city. Some believe he fell to his death, but in fact he was rescued by Ka the Immortal who turned him into an Exalted creature.

He can be encountered anywhere on Davania or even on other continents, seeking to protect apes. He has on occasion clashed with Zilrador, the Lizard Emperor, but it is unclear which if them is the most powerful. Korgo has also on occasion visited the Hollow World and some say he has sired a son there. When on Davania, he can often be seen in the lost Valley, battling the huge beasts and mechanical monstrosities found there.
