Minrothad Merchant-Princes as Arcane Tricksters for 6e

by Marc Saindon

A follow-up on an earlier on one of my earlier post on the Arcane Trickster

My initial question was that when importing Arcane Trickster (Mage-Thief combo) into Mystara, do they get their own specialized guilds. The answer was mostly that they are specialists working within established Thief Guilds.

Since I was using Sheila and her invisibility cape as my idea of the Arcane Trickster, it limited me to view as thieves and infiltrators, whereas by reviewing the Minrothad Guilds, you can pretty much have an Arcane Trickster who mixes business skills and magical resources with the BECMI Merchant-Prince class (and its non-unionized equivalent in Darokin). Both these groups would have specialized organizations, often within the governement, that would function as a business-rogue-magic guild, distinct from the Wizards' Guild and the Thief Guild.
