by John Walter BilesVisitors to Mystara from another plane, Planar Spiders are as intelligent and varied in behaviour as humans; those encountered in Mystara may be anything from petty wicked bandits to wise philosophers. In their home plane, they build great web-cities they regard as equal to or better than any human city; they regard most Mystara spiders the way humans regard monkeys and apes.

Pre-emptive Spider Strike (immediate interrupt; Refresh 5-6)
When a marked target tries to shift or move away from them, they get an immediate attack: +10 vs. Reflex; 3d6+4 and the Planar Spider may teleport to a square adjacent to where they end the move action.
