"These creatures look very similar to grackles, the common blackbirds from which they descended. However, sprackles are larger and coloured differently: feathers are coppery or reddish-brown. Moreover, these birds constantly shed little electrical sparks that make them glow in the dark. There are two varieties of sprackle: lesser and greater" (15). The former is simply smaller, while the latter is larger; 20 inches in length versus four feet.

Combat

Lightning Attack (Ex): Sprackles can launch lightning attacks with a range of 30 feet for less. The lightning attack is treated as a ranged touch that inflicts 1d3 points of damage for lesser Sprackles, and 1d6 for the greater variety.

Greater Sprackle bird: The greater sprackle bird looks identical to the lesser species, except they can grow up to 2 feet in length.
