From a Erewan elven family of famous leather workers going all the way back to the old country and Clan Erendyl.
She has younger brother and sister but they died during the war. However, she may have been the cause
She will work with Monsters, Fiends and even a Dragon to achieve her dreams.
Was born 8.619 and become a disappointment for her parents, both famous elven artisans. They tried to instill a strong sense of morality in their daughter, preparing her for a long life devoted to elven craftsmanship. Perhaps they tried too hard. She was forced to study long hours from the time she could walk and talk. Hours of elven philosophical and history were followed by more hours of grueling physical training in leatherworking. When her parents discovered that she also had a talent for magic, they were delighted. Soon hours of magic lessons followed the studies and then manual labor.
A few of her parents' friends advised them to lighten up a little, that many elves often have many years, happy and carefree childhood before they were inducted into their duties, but they would have none of it. Rebelliousness was met with punishments, which caused her to break, then she went along with all the training even with a smile on her face. However, a corruption was growing in her heart and her mind.
Her parents had a lovely elven cat named Mr. Whiskers, that they loved very much. Just before she left home, she fashioned herself a purse made from poor Mr. Whisker. She also took 1/3 of her parents gold as her fee for the treatment she had to endure all those years.

For 120 years, Vaarn travelled on the gold she took from the coffers of her parents all around Mystara enjoying the freedom she was denied for so long. When the coins run out, she had to to rely on the magic and the skills she was taught all those years ago. A few travelling Glantrians ladies wanted a pair of owl bear gloves she had made. She let the two bid on the gloves, Vaarn made 6 crowns and moved to Glantri afterward.
She loves to con the wealthy out of their crowns (with her unique Fashions), and so far, is not sorry for the things that she has done. Sometimes she feels painfully lonely and homesick for the forest but she loves the City life too. These dark moods are what leads to new lines of Fashion and Slaughter!!
As an famous artist, she can be joyful and charming one moment and vengeful, vindictive and cruel the next. If she doesn't get her way she will pout and try to manipulate things to her advantage. If she is still thwarted despite her efforts, she will become angry and spiteful (Then use her talents and her Raiders to solve the issue).
Vaarn can create outstanding products from any exotic leather, scales & hides the client wishes (no questions asked nor answered). The prices are outrageous but a Hand-made custom piece from Vaarn gets everyone's attention in Glantri.

She and her raiders (young and dumb followers) could be labelled be mass murders of sentient life forms. This caught the attention of the Sphere of Entropy as a bonus many in the sphere love her craftsmanship.
Vaarn's Fairy Wings, Tortle Shells and even Centaur Hides in the underground marketplace sell for top crown.

Dated and married Aozy Markvo for a limited time almost 25 years ago. She married him for his families connections in Glantri and divorced him after he disappeared for almost 2 years. In truth, she "cursed" Markvo turning him into a black cat then tried to skin him. He escaped and broke the curse, at least a fairy broke the curse. Vaarn was disappointed as she wanted to make him into a new purse but she had moved on to bigger and better things. She took almost all his holdings and wealth, only leaving him with his families business that was still in his parents names. As Markvo had no proof that Vaarn cursed him and her connections she was never charged with anything. She still lives in his small house, she took from him, in Glantri saving her crowns to grade to mansion in the future.
She stumbled onto Synn in her dragon form getting a client a custom order, centaur hide boots, in the woods. Vaarn was not a fool and humbled herself before Synn then said she would follow the mighty and beautiful Dragon (She really thinks her scales are beautiful). Vaarn continued if the Dragon (Synn ) would spare her, that she would devoted herself to her as long as she can continue her Artwork (and lifestyle). Synn was in a good mood after getting rid of some adventurers and she already liked Vaarn (She also wanted Vaarn to finish making those centuar boots for her anyway). So, Synn agreed; however, she was pleasantly surprised when Vaarn started the Cult of Grijeh ((Synn) or Sin in Croatian). Vaarn has since become a 2nd level Dracologists of Grijeh (Synn) and leads a select group of cultist for Synn and her benefit.

Synn (Grijeh) has recently lent Vaarn a powerful Elven Relic that can infuse a cultist with strange power (with side effects after prolong use). However, the relic has a chance to take the life of its user and a very, very rare chance to transform its user into a fiend or a titan depending on their soul.
Extra information: The relic could fully Heal those with Immaterialism and even possible other diseases: however, Vaarn will not use that function of the device. Instead, she will use the lesser healing power of the Elven Relic....It would be like being poisoned and going to a Healer then the healer casts delay (or more like pause) poison and tells you to come back next week for another treatment (and bring coins, of course)

Vaarn is employing a Master Forger to create fake tomes about Grijeh and has place them in Glantri School in: 2S Library Hall on page 28, 4Q Duck Dormitory on page 51, 6H Hidden Library on page 68 and final copy is in -3W Hydromancer Library (special material) on page 286.
The relic, Synn, lent to Vaarn can temporary Cure Immaterialism (with continued membership in the Cult). See page 521 on Immaterialism .

Vaarn has pointed out a few flaws in knowledge and has been rewarded for her expert knowledge.
She has been "corrected" once by a freelance wizard on Unicorns and Vaarn had to repay the money plus extra fees. However, Vaarn came back a month later with proof she was right; it only cost the lives of 3 unicorns for her to prove her theory. The money was return to Vaarn and the other wizard was no where to be found (Vaarn's raiders took care of the problem).
Vaarn loves taking walks through: 30 Museum of Monsterology on page 36. She gets many inspirations from the there.
The Truth about Vaarn's aging is she came across 8 amulets in her travels. See -2W17 Box Storage: Amulet of Perpetual Youth on page 171. She is always on the lookout for these magic items.
Extra Information: Vaarn has run into a flawed amulet that aged her a bit. She has a tiny wrinkle under her left eye when she gets tired or angry from exposure to the flawed item. 99% of people would never notice this wrinkle but Vaarn the perfectionist she is, can see it whenever she looks into a mirror. She is still on the Hunt for the Alphatian merchant that sold it to her. Now, she has an animal wear it a year or two to test if the if the beast remains the same or ages quickly.
