Expanding the Northern Reaches: Álfablót

by Marc Saindon

Álfablót

Perhaps it's an important event in the Kalslo Island, different from the rest of Ostland, due to primarily worshipping Vanir instead of Aesir. Despite its secrecy maybe a watered-down version of the festival is celebrated throughout the Northern Reaches.

In a previous post, I've mentioned the possibility of (non-canon) indigenous Elves that live in the Northern Reaches, so maybe they could have a connection to the Alfablot rituals, perhaps it represents the sealing of an old peace pact between (human) Kalslo Islanders and these Elves.
