Nuwmont 1: Heavy snowfalls in Ylaruam
Location: Emirates of Ylaruam, KW
Description: After a brutally cold night Yazid the Bandit emerges from his tent to find the desert sands blanketed in white snow. His men inform him that several of the camels have died in the night. Yazid nods as he balls up a handful of snow and sand and throws it out as far as he can. (See winter comes to Selenica Nu.1)
What is going on: A massive polar blast has rolled south across the continent of Brun unexpectedly plunging temperatures to below freezing and dumping a lot of snow across the most southern regions of the Known World as far south as the Republic of Darokin and Emirates of Ylaruam.
What the PCs can do: If the PCs are caught outdoors they are forced to take shelter. Anyone failing to seek shelter must undertake a constitution check or die from the cold.
Nuwmont 1: Winter comes to Selenica
Location: Selenica, Republic of Darokin, KW
Description: The Merchant Egrorian Franich, having come down stairs from a particularly cold morning finds his servants attempting to dig through the snow that is half way up his door. (See snowfalls in Ylaruam Nu.1)
What is going on: Snowfalls across the Region have resulted in snow cover as deep as a halfling is high. Unfortunatly it has trapped people in their homes in Selenica and halted the movement of wagons. The city of Selenica is forced to dig itself out of the snow.
Nuwmont 1: Princess Adriana falls ill
Location: Specularum, Kingdom of Karameikos, KW
Description: This evening as the sailing vessel Moonlight approaches Mirror harbour its passenger Princess Adriana Karameikos is suddenly taken ill and collapses on deck and cannot be awoken. Once the Moonlight docks a wagon is comandeered she is rushed to the Castle. (See Nu.4; Nu.5)
What is going on: Princess Adriana has fallen into a coma due to serious illness. Clerics are unable to heal her.
Nuwmont 4: Princess Adriana passes away
Location: Specularum, Kingdom of Karameikos, KW
Description: This morning Princess Ariadna having not awoken since collapsing on the deck of the sailing vessel Moonlight succumbs to her illness and passes away. The Bells of the church of Karameikos sound announcing the loss to the populace. (See Nu.1; Nu.5)
What is going on: Princess Adriana has passed away after falling ill.
Nuwmont 5: Queen Olivia dies
Location: Specularum, Kingdom of Karameikos, KW
Description: Queen Olivia is discussing the funeral of her daughter with assistants when she collapses. Though they attempt to care for her as best they can they are unable to revive her and Queen Olivia passes away after a few hours. The Bells of the church of Karameikos sound announcing the loss to the populace. (See Nu.1; Nu.4)
What is going on: Queen Olivia, greiving the loss of Princess Adriana, collapses and dies several hours after.
