Aziza (Tangorian Gnome)

by Marc Saindon

"Living in the forest, they provide good magic for hunters. They are also known to have given practical and spiritual knowledge to people (including knowledge of the use of fire). The Aziza are described as little people and are said to live in anthills and silk-cotton trees"
Aziza (African mythology)

This would be a small Gnomish community that has immigrated in the Tangor Bay a few generations ago and have since integrated Tangorian culture, although still keep their own language and traditions among themselves.

As Forest Gnomes, they were quick to move and adapt inland into the forested hinterlands, and make pacts with the local Fey. They are valued as miners of jewels and herbalists by the rest of society

As I imagine Dwarves to be "German" and Gnomes to be more "Yiddish", the Aziza Gnomes would speak to a Jewish dialect in the African diaspora or maybe just a Jamaican accent.

(probably not the best image for a rasta gnome, but did not want to include drug references)
