Map of the County of Halathius
by Sven JeskeI always found the standard 8-mile map of the County of Halathius a bit ... uninspiring. Although it should be a great area for low to medium level chars.
Hopefully, with a 2-mile hex version, it gets more attention.
Please note, I haven't fully developed the neighboring regions Nicosthenia, Dythestenia and Retebius yet (Kantrium is okay though). Will update the map when I'm done with those.
Also, canon maps don't have "forested mountain" terrain. I have, though, and this map uses quite a bit of forested mountains.
Bonus: a DM version with some more ... interesting ... stuff (in yellow ... I usually use red for DM stuff, but because the background is mostly dark, I took to yellow here).
Upcoming plans for Halathius:
- a Mini-Gazetteer with more details about the places on the map
- some areas as hyper-detailed 0.67-mile hex map
- mapping the Shadowdeep below Halathius, a series of large interconnected caverns below the surface (all those humanoids must come from somewhere)
