Let's stop the D&D rules arguments... they really are vapid now.

Let's just, to paraphrase Homer Simpson, agree that OD&D man has a good point about 3e feeding off the political disenfranchisement of the bourgeoisie and that 3e man is right when he says that OD&D begets, as if by a law of nature, its own abnegation.
