Description:

Giant elk inhabit hills and plains.  They are 10-12 feet long and weigh nearly a ton.  Their antlers span 10 feet or more.  Giant elk eat shrubs and grasses.  They are preyed upon by dire wolves and sabre-tooth tigers.

Combat:

Stampede (Ex): A frightened herd of giant elk flees as a group in a random direction (but always away from the perceived source of danger).  They literally run over anything of size Large or smaller that gets in their way, dealing 1d12 points of damage for every 3 elk in the herd.  A successful Reflex save (DC 15) halves the damage.
