Multiple teams on the lookout for children that could become a wizard with special orbs created at the Glantri Great School of Magic. Glantri will pay the tuition of the student for up to eight years at the Glantri Great School of Magic. However, the student must take a job (given to them) after eight years through the Princes and The Glantrian Student Loan Bureaucracy contacts. For the next 40 years!! The contracts were written by a team of experts and will include a special geas spell.
The Glantrian Student Loan Bureaucracy will modify Anthon Nenetsk system. The family of the child will get a one-time payment of 160 dc and the town will get 80 dc upon the child, parents and town mayor/elder signing the contract. However, no more dc after that payment.
The future wizard will be given a job in either:
spellcasting services
scroll making
as a potion making
or
Could work for a prince or Glantri as a general wizard (preferred level 5+)
...Companies or Glantri pays for the spellcasters permits but not the wizard's taxes (However, will withhold them and send into the correct office).
Spellcaster by maximum spell level/ monthly pay
1st level: 500 gp or dc
2nd level: 750 gp or dc
3rd level: 1000 gp or dc
4th level: 1250 gp or dc
5th level: 1500 gp or dc
The Breakdown
wizard: 25% (more like 15% - 1dc after taxes)
Glantri and the Glantrian Student Loan Bureaucracy: 45%
Princes: 10%
Glantri Great School of Magic: 20%
Example: John Doe after 8 years graduates from the Glantri Great School of Magic as a 4th level wizard with a maximum spell level of 2nd level.
Starts at 750 dc
The company or the Glantrian Student Loan Bureaucracy will pay John Doe about 112.5 dc per month (187.5 dc but withholds about 75 dc per month for taxes)
Glantri and the Glantrian Student Loan Bureaucracy: 337.5 dc per month
Princes: 75 dc per month
Glantri Great School of Magic: 150 dc per month
and after 40 years the wizard will be free to do as they please. The companies and the Glantrian Student Loan Bureaucracy will let the wizard go but more importantly the geas spell is undone by completion of the contract.
The wizard makes a bit more; however, no dc is going to family nor town. All income to Glantri, Princes, GSOM, and the Glantrian Student Loan Bureaucracy.
Some of the poorer villages and towns will even seek Mr. Nenetsk and try to get their children in through his plan instead of the Glantrian Student Loan Bureaucracy. However, those that live in certain Princes' Principalities may feel real pressure to have their children go through the Glantrian Student Loan Bureaucracy system.
