Icthyosaurus was a skilful predator of the dinosaur era, living in the water and eating things too small to save themselves. Real Icthyosaurus ate fish and squid. Fantasy ones supplement their diet with adventurers. Unlike most dinosaurs, they gave birth to live young in the water, never needing to go to the land. Icthyosaurus had large, powerful eyes protected by bony shields. It had a shark like body with a flesh dorsal fin and a large caudal fin. Its ears were rigid and bony, carrying vibrations to a protected inner ear.
