Idu [Ixion]

The worship of Idu, known as The Great Bull, was brought to Taymora by Tauran refugees from the Realm of Gildesh in Davania. In Taymora, Idu is seen as an opponent of Tanyt, the goddess of the Night, and is a symbol of resistance to oppression. His followers are most prevalent in the western free states, which have thrown off their undying rulers. The city state of Taymoraz has made Idu their primary patron deity. In most other states in Taymora, however, the worship of Idu is forbidden and his followers are actively persecuted.
According to prophecy, unless Idu can defeat Tanyt and all of her spawn, Taymora will be destroyed in a cataclysm of earth and fire. Idu is often depicted as an athletic man with a circular crown and rays of sunlight shining from behind him.
The Tale of the Sun Crown: In this legend, Idu was said to have a magical crown that shone with the light of the sun. It is said that whenever Idu wore the crown, he was imbued with great strength and the power to defeat his enemies. One day, Idu was challenged by a powerful demon that threatened to destroy all of Taymora. Despite being outnumbered and outmatched, Idu fearlessly faced the demon and, with the help of his sun crown, was able to defeat it and save the land from destruction. From then on, the sun crown became a symbol of Idu's power and was revered as a holy relic by his followers.
The Prophecy of the Cataclysm: According to ancient prophecy, unless Idu is able to defeat Tanyt and all of her spawn, Taymora will be destroyed in a cataclysm of earth and fire. This prophecy has long been a source of fear and concern for the people of Taymora, and many have dedicated their lives to worshiping Idu and praying for his victory. Some believe that the day of the cataclysm is fast approaching, and that only through the strength and power of Idu can it be averted. Others, however, believe that the prophecy is simply a myth and that the true fate of Taymora remains to be seen.
The Rescue of the Sun: In this legend, Idu is said to have saved the sun from being consumed by a great dragon. It is said that the dragon had grown powerful from consuming the sun's energy, and that it threatened to consume the sun entirely and plunge the world into eternal darkness. Idu, however, was not afraid of the dragon, and he bravely confronted it in battle. After a fierce struggle, Idu was able to defeat the dragon and rescue the sun, saving the world from eternal darkness.
The Temple of the Sun: According to legend, Idu was said to have built a hidden temple deep within the mountains of Taymora. The temple was said to be a place of great power, and it was said that those who entered it would be imbued with the strength and power of the sun. It is said that only the most devout followers of Idu were allowed to enter the temple, and that they would undergo rigorous trials in order to prove their worthiness. Those who were able to pass these trials were said to be rewarded with great blessings and power, while those who failed were said to be punished.
