ALFHEIM (Outer Plane of)

Note: This is my interpretation of the Outer Plane of Alfheim as introduced in Gaz7: The Northern Reaches.

When Ilsundal created the elven forest in Mystara's Known World, he called that realm Alfheim in honor of this Outer Plane. This is the ancestral home plane of Mystara's Elves. Some say it was here the elves lived before they were called to Mystara by Ordana and settled in the now frozen lands of Grunland. Still, many elves refer to this plane as High Evergrun. The Immortal Frey is lord of Alfheim, though he is more often seen in Vanaheim. This realm in many ways resembles the Fairy Realm of the Feywoods, but is much more orderly. Still many gates between the two realms exist and Fey folk are common in Alfheim. Gates from this plane also lead to many elven settlements on Mystara, including the lost elven realms of Davania as well as Alfheim, the Sylvan Realm and others.
