I decided not incorporating every intelligent plant found on Mystara into this document. The Gakkaraks I see as a kind of Wild Treant that was more widespread in the Blackmoor era (since they are used in the DA modules).

I also find the connection to the Odic an interesting possibility and perhaps the closest we will ever get to an undead Treant?
