Mahes [Ninfangle]

In the ancient land of Taymora, Mahes was revered as the god of the wild and the patron of hunters. He was depicted as a strong and muscular man with the head of a lion, dressed in the skins of beasts and armed with a hunting spear.
According to myth, Mahes espoused the virtues of freedom and self-reliance, and his worship was embraced by those who lived on the edges of Taymoran society. He was known for his fierce loyalty to his followers and his unyielding pursuit of justice.
In the wilderness, Mahes was revered as the protector of all animals, and it was believed that he could communicate with them and command their loyalty. He was also said to have the ability to transform into any animal he wished, allowing him to stalk his prey with stealth and cunning.
As the god of the hunt, Mahes was praised for his bravery and skill in tracking down and killing even the most elusive and dangerous game. He was also credited with teaching his followers the art of survival in the wild, and many of them turned to him for guidance and protection when venturing into the unknown.
Despite his fierce nature, Mahes was also revered for his kindness and generosity, and it was said that he would always come to the aid of those in need. For this reason, he was greatly beloved by all who knew him, and his cult remained strong for centuries in the land of Taymora.
The Tragedy of the Forbidden Love: There was once a young woman named Aya who lived in a small village on the edge of the wilderness. She was beautiful and kind, and she had a deep love for all of the animals that roamed the nearby forests. One day, while out gathering berries, Aya stumbled upon a wounded lion. Despite the danger, she couldn't bring herself to leave the animal to suffer, and she bravely tended to its wounds. Over time, the lion began to heal, and it grew to trust Aya and even seem to love her in return. As the lion grew stronger, Aya began to sense that there was something more to the animal than met the eye. One day, while out in the forest, she was shocked to see the lion transform into a handsome young man - none other than Mahes himself, who had been cursed to live as a beast until he found someone who could love him for who he truly was. Aya was overjoyed to have found her true love, but their happiness was short-lived. The villagers, fearful of the lion that roamed their land, demanded that Aya choose between her love for Mahes and her place in the community. In the end, Aya was forced to make the heart-wrenching decision to leave Mahes and return to the village, where she lived the rest of her life alone and heartbroken.
