Milenian titles
by Marc SaindonBoth Milenia and Thyatis attempt to be 'Ancient Grome' settings, although I think for the sake distinguishing both, the Milenians should be more Greek and the Thyatians be more Roman (even though that occupy a role similar to the Byzantine Empire).
When it comes to titles of rulers, this is proposed quick fix for the Milenians:
Emperor (derived from latin 'imperator') is replaced by the title of Hegemon. Thus the Milenian Empire is actually a Milenian Hegemony (though for the sake of simplicity is still called an empire).
Senator (derived from latin 'senex', old man) is replaced by the title of Archon. Rather than have a senate, the Archons would gather as a Council.
Other greek titles should be favored: a Polemarch ('war archon') as Minister of War, Strategoi as generals, etc.
