A mix of bartending and witch-doctor (Ooo eee, Ooo ah ah, ting tang Walla walla bing bang) which essentially functions as an Artificer Alchemist for game mechanics, although with a higher Charisma as he socializes more with the public rather than toil away alone in the lab. May involve Love Potion number 9. The focus of his spells should be healing, buffs and defensive rather than damage spells to keep the theme going. Like a Druid, he'll collect herbs and various fruits, but taste will be taken into account. When the day-o of battle is over and the party needs healing, the Artificer starts cutting the limes and shaking it all about.
Obviously, not every bartender in Ierendi is going to be a magic-using Artificer, as these are usually at the level of Brian Flanagan and Doug Coughlin (see 1988's Cocktail with Tom Cruise).
