As Figther, except as follows:

• Nithian Cultural Limitations:
• Illiteracy: Nithian characters must spend a skill slot in order to learn how to read and write. (This is a modification of the rule in the HW boxed set)
• Armor Limitation: may not use any armor that gives an AC better than 5 (not including bonuses for Dex, magic or skills).
• Cultural Weapons limitation: Nithians are limited to using the weapons associated with their culture.
• Recommended Skills: Bow Shield, Shield Back, Nithian Armor, Nithian Weapons
• Limitations:
• If wearing any fuil set of armor, this cancels out the Archery Ability (see below). Partial armor such as breastplates are allowed.
• If wearing any helmet, this reduces Archery Ability to +1 (see below)
• Archery ability: +2 to attack and damage with any bow. Note that no shields except bucklers can be used with a bow unless the character has the Bow Shield Skill.
