Holds ruins 2300 BC known as Drynneg.
Exists since; 1800BC, enhanced in 1700BC
History;
Dhorfyl Drynneg, master of Drynneg Estate was obsessed with living forever. Deep in his inner sanctum was a wide dungeon filled with dwarven prisoners snatched from the lower stations from life across the Shimmering Lands. These he experimented on, attempting to perfect the process of soulforging, so that a soul transferred into a stone body would remember all of its former life. Dhorfyl was in the middle of such an experiment when the Gate of Light was destroyed in BC 1800 (during the dwarven civil war), ending Dhorfyl's experiment and fusing his essence into his technomantic apparatus.Centuries (when??) later the witch Baba Yaga stumbled upon the site and realized what it could be used for. She immediately saw the flaw in Dhorfyl's original plans - attempting to place a soul into a construct body in which it would subsequently "live". Instead she realized that by removing the soul and placing it into an inanimate object, she could create a kind of living phylactery. A talisman that would keep the original body alive as long as the item itself was kept safe and undamaged. Though Baba Yaga did not need to prolong her own life in this way, she has used the site's powers to grant that "blessing" to others. Unfortunately for them, Baba Yaga's price is the talisman itself - the one infused with their own souls.
Baba Yaga taking the soul infused talisman effectively makes anyone undergoing this procedure her "prisoner". While they might live forever (or until she decides to destroy their talisman), they probably will be compelled to do the witch's will when she decides them to be of use.
Any number of folks could have stumbled across the site over the years. Dwarves, Ethengar warriors, folks of the Northern Reaches, Heldanners... just about anyone. Over the years many could have take up this mantle, become Baba Yaga's puppet, and lived unnaturally long lives within a construct body.One of these was Koschei, a Cretia dedicated Shape-shifter Hakomon in the tribe of Khan Konchak. Konchak was a blessed Khan, with three sons and two daughters, and one of these, Morevna, was promised to Tsar Bel-Belianin's(Tsar= local name of another Khan) to become the Tzaritza when coming of age. Koschei fell in love with Morevna as soon as his eyes laid upon her. As Hakomon he learned some of the history of Ostagai, and desired to be Immortal himself, to be able to gain Morevna's love.
When he found and entered the ruins of Drynneg, he met Baba Yaga, the witch supreme, who was experimenting. He immediatly surmised she was responsible for the Immortality, and almost begged for Baba Yaga to grant him this. To prove himself worthy, he was required to make Love with Baba Yaga. At the height of the moment Baba Yaga pricked him with a needle and tore his soul away from his body. The soul was attached to the needle, which she hid inside a duck's egg still inside the duck, the slain duck was placed in a dead hare, the hare was placed in a chest, the chest was buried and chained up on World Mountain, beyond the realm of life, and underneath death's eyes where it will never start looking, and so Koschei lives forever as a biological construct.
Koschei still desired to own Morevna, and to do so he had to be close to Khan Konchak. To do so he saved Prince Igor, son of Tsar Bel-Belianin, from captivity by a rival clan. Wandering around Koschei eventually succeded by using a Hakomon Sleep spell that can be broken only by playing an enchanted gusli. When returned he became a military asset of Khan Konchak in 350AC. So he came near to Morevna, days before her wedding. Taking the oppurtunity, he abducted Morevna, and rode away on his seven-legged horse.
Attempts of rescue were made by the Tsar's three suns. Igor and Bupshi failed, returning wth tales of his might and magic, of his shapechanging in the name of Cretia. Yet the third son, Petr, a Shaman of Terra, saw Koschei turning Morevna into a snake. She refused to marry him, despite him explaining all his powers and Immortality . Using his Shaman Spell Talk to Animals, he spoke to her and learned how the wizard hides his life. Petr Sought for the egg, freeing animals along the way which helped him obtain the egg. Eventually he returns to the wizard's domain in Drynneg and incapacitated him by squeezing the egg – every action on the egg is mirrored on the wizard's body.
The mangled body of Koschei, was chained in a cell behind a door, and revived regularly by throwing water on him (Element of Time), to restore him back to life and suffer the pain over and over again, this is his punishment for all the foul magic Cretia has ordered him to do. Morevna was later turned to human, and married Tsar Bel-Belianin as intended.
Koschei is last recorded in Ethengar birch-bark manuscripts of 403 AC, if the record is correct this gives Koschei an unusually long life, this would have been over six centuries.
It is unknown if Koschei is still imprisoned, He could be released by the other constructs, or even Baba Yaga or some unknown fool, yet it is certain he is fueled with hatred by the Entropy and his history.
Baba Yaga uses these constructs as an experiment to see how life and soul function in other elements...as being herself a somewhat chaotic nature entity this became a project of hers to see if and how souls in constructed life could fare with some elements missing.Effects; The Hakomon meditating within this area for over 8 hours will contact a random soul-bound construct through the technomagical magic in Drynneg, and tap into th constructs energy. The Hakomon will thus gain benefits depending on the Elements the construct is made from.
Side-effect; The Construct will sense this thieving of parts of its energy and try to regain it through any means it is able. A single magical spell with any one of its elements will suffice, as will fully endowsing the construct with same said element (standing outside if holding Thought-air ellement does not suffice, yet a storm will.)Sphere of Influence;Entropy, + Varies,
Radius; This area is sensitive to the power of the Hakomon, and is on itself only 2 mile radius (the diameter of the underground tunnel complex). The influence is 1 mile per 5 hakomon levels. However, as some of the constructs may wander around, a distance of 500 yard away from such construct anywhere will suffice as well. These constructs will not enter any other Hakomon Location nor World Mountain. There they will suffer entropic draining, which can only be restored by murder in equal amountWandering Monsters;

Wandering ghostsnof any alignment where the "Immortality' failed, or was broken by destroying the PhylacteryAfter Radiance; The magical, technomagical and soulbinding effects will seize to exist. Souls bound to organic elements will start aging and are vulnerable to normal death, and age accordingly based on their original race and age at the moment they were soulbound. Inorganic bound souls will age and die like elementals. This means upon death they will like Elementals, splinter up in as many 1HD Elementals, the number split evenly among the available elements (if divining equally is not possible, this happens randomly). All these new Elementals, are normal Elementals in all aspects, and are new identities, with no memories of its parent as normal, which will prefer to live amongst their own element (ie Plane). In total the location will become non-magical with no benefits.
Ghost will remain within 5 miles of the location, until they find eternal rest as with normal ghosts or dissipate normally after 100 year per original HD+age since their demiseAccompanying art;

Koschein imprisoned and tortured
Ok Thus far My ideas on this.
Especially the Koschei part seems to fit now
As before Blue text is uncertain
I kept several names of Constructs unknown to allow other ideas
(had to do this thrice, as Piazza threw me out by working too long online without altering the page I was on...grr)One thing puzzles me a bit. We have a soul, an original body and a construct, as well as a Phylactery
The Phylactery holds the soul, then what is in the Construct, And how does it affect the body...
I Assume with the needle the soul is pulled out of the body, thereby blocking it from entering Limbo.
Yet also the soul IS the essence of the person.
What if the soul is not caught, but as the Koschei legends say, the "death" of a character, and the soul returns to the original body.
That seems to fit, yet then how do we tie in the Constructs.... The Phylactery thus holds the link to lifem, preventing death to come to the original body, yet I can;t find a logical anything yet to tie in the constructs, even if the idea is perfect
