Adding Oxheads (Minotaurs) as a Player Class/Race
by Marc SaindonThis is a quick one, to add non-human options for Ochalea, but without re-skinning the Elves, Dwarves and Halflings. Essentially, Niu-Tou "Oxhead" (and the equinesque Ma-Mian "Horse-Face") are two guardians of the Underworld (Diyu). It's a simple stone throw to just make them a Race-Specy-Lineage (use the term you like) native to the Ochalean Shadowfell. They are born in the Land of the Dead (whereas Ochaleans cross over as Ghosts after death). Of course, with portals being a thing, it's possible for Ox-Heads to migrate to the world of the living, and take up work as mercenary Fighters. Or even form small communities, from which your PC is from. Yes, this is borrowing quite a bit from Savage Worlds' Legend of Ghost Mountain, but I think it does fit with Mystara's many animal-based races (if not, just put wings on it...).

As for Horse-Face, there are several versions one could use for an anthropomorphic race (I'm not sure Mystara has one):
