Campaign Experience

by Pol Ginés

Our small horde of humanoids started his adventures and travel many months ago near Landersfjord after taking a good reward for kidnapping Halav crusaders in the Gnoll Wars.

To avoid revenge and "build an empire in Gostai, with my people", the goblin leader Talin (a Gostai native) leads his ragtag group of boars and goblins to the Ethengarian frontiers. Two of them contracted lycanthropy, they lost some boars but now they recruit wolves; they also recruited a few Sliktor orcs with giant boars. Kadan Khan (evil Jaku the Render) asked them to kidnap Manghai, the son of the Golden Khan, while he was on a hunting expedition. They were succesfull and delivered him to Kadan Khan. He asked them to leave the country. Near the Land of the BLack Sand they found strange ruins and machiavelic doppelgangers. They also hunted a big white dragon.

In Heldannic hills they found forgotten Modrigswerg dungeons with old and strange clockwork technologies and golems. They crossed a river [in the photo] where some boars were trapped... and attacked by a Skrisml (monster of the Fan GAZ of Heldann). They recruited two thouls (good for triggering traps). And finally they arrived to Hayavik, that has been conquered by Hulagu Khan.

Kadan Khan is helping with many Kiyat horse-warriors and nearly all the clerics of Cretia are here for a war against Heldannic Knights. Some Northmen and hill humanoids (Hobgoblin pikemen and goblin archers) are here too.

The PCs hear than "Manghai, the son of the Golden Khan" is coming with Kiyat warriors, but no other tribe is going to this war. ["Let's hide the armor and saddle and all the other treasures we stole from him", they say.]

Jaku the Render will try to use our PCs and their small goblin horde to obtain his violent goals: a strong war between Ethengar and Heldannic Knights.
