Qorun [Khoronus]
According to legend, Qorun was the first of the Taymoran gods to appear on earth. He was said to have emerged from the primordial sea, bringing with him the gifts of civilization and culture to the people of Taymora.
As the God of Rulership, Qorun was revered by the noble class of Taymora, who saw him as the embodiment of wisdom and justice. The Nosferatu rulers, in particular, looked to Qorun as the first of the Undying Rulers, and sought to emulate his wisdom and fairness in their own rule.
In his role as the God of the Sea, Qorun was also revered by merchants and seafarers, who prayed to him for protection and prosperity on their voyages. Many stories tell of Qorun appearing to sailors in times of danger, calming the storms and guiding their ships to safety.
Despite his benevolent nature, Qorun was also said to be a stern and demanding deity, who demanded obedience and respect from those who worshipped him. Those who failed to honor Qorun were said to face his wrath, in the form of natural disasters or other calamities.
Despite his fearsome reputation, Qorun was deeply loved and respected by the people of Taymora, who saw him as a benevolent protector and guide. His myths and legends have been passed down through the ages, and he remains one of the most revered deities in the Taymoran pantheon.
The Legend of Qorun and the Undying Queens: According to this myth, Qorun was the first of the Taymoran gods to attain immortality, and he granted this gift to a select few mortal rulers who were deemed worthy. These rulers, known as the Undying Queens, were said to have ruled justly and wisely, bringing prosperity and peace to their realms.
