Marriage:

married. This is not as with the more traditional marriage seen
outside of the Empire in Thyatis and Karameikos. A marriage which
sees an exchange of vows during a ceremony. Instead, the people of
Randel tend to live together as long as it is convenient. Usually
the marriage starts off based on a common attraction to each other.
This relationship is further cemented by the birth of a child.
However, such a marriage is by no means binding. Either the wife or
husband can leave the relationship at any time. Marriages seem to
be more permanent with the non-spellcasters.
