Musing on the Rockhome's Good Kingdom-Feywild counterpart

by Marc Saindon

Since Dwarves feel at home in caves and in underground regions, their liminal spaces and weird regions would be at the reverse of humans, with forests and water being a focal point of their spooky beliefs. This is why, in part, they don't like farming or sailing, the same way our kids don't like going into that creepy old basement.

Those misty pinewoods, on particular foggy nights, could draw in Dwarves in a "Dark Forest" of some sort. Inspiration could be taken from Norse myths or North American folk tales.
