Requirements: Probably some Knowledge Skills (history plus one other) at something like 5 ranks or so; possibly Skill Focus in one of them. Not sure of what other requirements (aside from role-playing ones- must find and recover an artifact).
Class Skills: Appraise (Int), Climb (Str), Craft (any) (Int), Decipher Script (Int), Diplomacy (Cha), Disable Device (Int), Gather Information (Cha), Jump (Str), Knowledge (any) (Int), Open Lock (Dex), Profession (any) (Wis), Search (Int), Speak Language, Use Magic Device (Cha), Use Rope (Dex).
Skill Points at Each Level: 4 + Int modifier
Weapon and Armour Proficiency: The Relic Hunter is proficient with all simple weapons and light armour (but not shields).
Class Abilities: I'm not entirely sure, but I'm thinking along these lines-
Attack Bonus: As Rogue
Saves: Good Will and Reflex, Poor Fortitude.
Detect Magic: At will, the Relic Hunter can detect magic as a spell like ability.
Bonuses to Use Magic Device and Decipher Script checks.
Analyse Dweomer: At 10th level, the Relic Hunter can use his knowledge to gain the effects of an Analyse Dweomer spell. Unlike the spell, the Relic Hunter *can* use this ability to gain information about an artifact (major or minor). This is an extraordinary ability useable once per day.
Lore: Gains the ability to know information about people and places just like the Bardic Knowledge ability.
Some sort of bonus/save versus the effects of Cursed items.
