Ralithos Melandil
by WingofCootRalithos is a hotheaded hunter of the Melandil sept, who may be encountered by PCs in the wilderness fringes of the Redwood Vales. He stands 5'5" with a robust build. While in the wilderness, he uses a longbow, wears a dagger at his belt, and dresses in woodland green over leather.
When first encountering PCs, he will be friendly to a party that includes any elves but suspicious (though not hostile) otherwise.

Some other notes:
The elven population outside New Ringlo is divided into over 80 villages, most of which are very small (a few hundred elves). The Threespring and Redwood Rivers are practically lined with villages (interspersed with sections of second-growth forest where a village was previously located, etc.), one being found usually every two or three miles; they are scattered more thinly elsewhere in the Redwood Vales, along smaller streams, at springs, etc.

Other notable crafts of the Redwood Elves include wine making (these are made from grapes, blackberries, or both and tend to be highly sweet) and the making of a form of papyrus-like reed paper.

There are about 12,000 centaurs in the Sylvan Highlands, divided into wandering bands of less than 100 individuals each. They have no fixed settlements, but the Centaurs' Valley and especially the hilly central rise within it is a sacred site where their bands meet.
