- Nithian Cultural Limitations:
- Illiteracy: Nithian characters must spend a skill slot in order to learn how to read and write. (This is a modification of the rule in the HW boxed set)
- Armor Limitation: may not use any armor that gives an AC better than 5 (not including bonuses for Dex, magic or skills).
- Cultural Weapons limitation: Nithians are limited to using the weapons associated with their culture.
- All Thief abilities count as 1 level higher when in a domestic structure.
- Hide in Hallways. As Hide in Shadows, except in any domestic structure. Does not extend to ruins or caverns.
- Eidetic Memory - 10% per level - available at 1st level
- Disguise ability: Roll Dex to change one's apperance. - Available at 1st level
- Magical disguise - may magically change their appearance including height and voice. Roll Dex to succeed. - Available at 5th Level
- Polymorph self - May change oneself to any type of humanoid or small animal. - Available at 10th level. Useable 1/ day + 1/day per level above 10th.
- Recommended Skills: N/A
- Limitations:
- Must spend 100 GP per level to maintain the trappings of high society. Failing to do so may result in being sent assassins after.
Notes: The Hide in Hallways ability was not quite well explained, but I think this is how it was meant to work.
