Magitech Aetherpunk Glantri -- The Trade Standards Regulatory (TSR) Board

by Marc Saindon

This is the Corporate Council that made the transition from an alliance of princes into massive conglomerates organized in a Zaibatsu-like structure, with the Deirdre Hillsbury overseeing. In common parlance it is refered to as the Synarchy (government through joint rule), and lower tiers in the Muck call it the "Syn" or "Sin". While omnipresent as a logo and official communications, "TSR" or "Trade Standards Regulatory" is oddly rarely used in casual speech.

Its logo is a stylized red dragon. It evokes power and going after Glantri's enemies with utter ruthlessness. (Nearby Ethengar is now a Mad Max sort of wasteland known as "the Scorch", although raiders still stir trouble on the borders).

Into what corporation would each Principalty be converted into?

Boldavia Pharmatech (BP or "Big Pharma"): specializing in various non-clerical cures, treatments, healthcare, pills and medicine. Cynics might point out that the corporate exec (oddly all vampires) just want to keep their human herd healthy and tasty... and are more "farming" than "pharma". Although the corporation does spend a lot of money on PR and marketing to make Boldavia look like our world's Prague as a party city. They have an Applied Necronomics Special Projects Division (mostly off the books) which descends from Glantri Secret School of Necromancy. "3B" (less ominous than the Boldavian Blood Bank as it was once known) casually collect "donations" from the poor in exchange for monetary compensation, for "research" and "benefit of science", although no one is clueless about all the Vampires, it's just not spoken of in polite society.
