Thoughts on Sexerothnyi
by Geoff GanderIn Lhomarrian, “Se-“ means “new” (so Selhomarr is literally “New Lhomarr”), and in this case Sexerothnyi is named after Xerothnyi, a province of the old empire. The “x” is pronounced like ž (or zh), so to a foreign ear it would sound like “Zezhaerothnee”, with emphasis on the second syllable.
