Feywild/Good Kingdom : Populating Kunlun with animal-folk inspired from the Chinese zodiac

by Marc Saindon

I like the idea of recycling the Ochalea map and create a "feywild" counterpart (yes, it's retconning, but not far from the Good Kingdom concept). Instead of having faeries, elves, eladrin and sylvan creatures, the "Kunlun" feywild could be populated by various animal-folk (Mystara has a variety of "furries" to fill in those roles). A city with a large human population could have a counterpart populated by many harengon (harefolk). Feng shui in architecture is used by both sides of the demiplane to keep things harmonious, so both cities have some similar features, but other traits may vary.

Weak points between worlds could be called 'Dragon Nests', allowing cross over from one world to another (especially during major astronomical events, like eclipses).

Kunlun would pay hommage to Oberon, but have a council of 5 elemental dragons (wood, metal, earth, fire, water) overseeing the Ochalea region. The council would a cycle that alternates the presiding leader, a compromise to avoid another "Dragon King War", something that not all Shen Lung Dragons would be happy with (driving potential intrigue in your campaign).
