World in Flames

Here's a post on an alternative Known World timeline. A few notes - the timeline is based upon some (non-canon) ideas that had come up on the MMB (for example - the goblins' artifact which ties into ideas presented earlier on Star of Vanya, the "mad city" of Woodgate in Wendar, the Myoshiman invasion of the Heldannic Territories which is mentioned in passing, the presence of Alphatians in Selenica following the end of the Great War, etc.) The plot given for the succession of King Stefan of Karameikos actually came from another contributor - unfortunately I don't recall his name. I hope he will manifest himself so proper credit can be given! The first two or three years of the timeline seem pretty brutal, but (for the most part) everything falls back into place at the end. This is repeated here for fun - I hope you enjoy reading through this as much as I enjoyed putting it together!
